Thirteen years ago, this little thing called Firebrand began. Since those early days, this company has been destined for incredible things. For the last thirteen years, we have started, built and grown New Zealand businesses (with attitude) and achieved more than anyone could have dreamed. Georgina Decade of Firebrand:
Seeing us through the last decade of those thirteen years has been Georgina. Georgina has been there throughout the Firebrand journey putting out fires, looking after our people, and believing in Firebrand. 2022 was a massive year for Georgina, where she was elected to the Business South Board of Directors and became a shareholder in Firebrand alongside Alex and Taua (read more about this exciting move here). We are proud of what you have achieved here at Firebrand in the last ten years and look forward to what the future holds. ?
Six Years of Taua:
October marked Taua's 6-year anniversary of being a Firebrander! ? Our Lead Developer Taua has been with us at Firebrand for six years! Taua leads with his heart and keeps calm while facing various dev challenges. We are so grateful to have had him over the last six years, and we all look forward to many more years to come! ?
Steph and Zoë Celebrate Their First Year At Firebrand:
Zoë and Steph started with us last year in November through the Dunedin City Council JobDun Internship programme and transitioned into full-time positions afterwards. ⭐ 2022 saw both Steph and Zoë finishing their Graduate Diplomas in Communications, Graphic Design through Otago Polytechnic while working full-time, and they are both very happy to say they are no longer students anymore! ?
These are only some of the examples of all of the milestones and achievements the Firebrand team has reached this year, it has definitely been a year of celebrating. We can't wait to see what 2023 has in store for the team! ?
