With a Bachelor of Information Technology from Otago Polytechnic, Taua has a myriad of expertise in all things development. As an engineer, Taua's role means getting stuck into custom development projects and supporting Marc with server maintenance and system upgrades.

Taua has distinguished programming skills in both front and back-end development including creating native iOS applications, maintaining servers, database development and specification scoping. In 2011, Taua received the Microsoft Tertiary ICT Innovation Award for Business in Higher Education - a true recognition of his diverse skill set.


Outside of the office, Taua plays hard at his other role - Dad to his three young boys. He loves spending as much time as possible with his family and getting the kids outside, whether playing rugby, swimming or skimboarding. Originally from Rarotonga, Taua loves heading home to the Cook Islands to see family as often as he can.

Taua is a keen sportsman with an interest in rugby, league, touch and soccer to name just a few. Taua plays rugby league for Otago and often travels around New Zealand with the team. He is also heavily involved in coaching this year.
