Repositioning to a more client-facing approach and steering clear of the "norm" of most referral organisations, Community Care Trust wanted Firebrand to create a brand and website with approachability, inclusion and care at its heart. The website that Firebrand created speaks openly to the concerns that people with intellectual disabilities have about living and participating as valued members of their communities. To make access to key content as efficient as possible, a people-focused, user-driven approach was taken, and accessibility tools were integrated directly into the website, including natural language search, a dyslexia-friendly font and easy options for changing font size. The new Community Care Trust website supports and promotes the organisation's strategic objectives of increasing awareness, promoting services, recruitment, process development and forming and maintaining partnerships.
