Giving Back
The Bowling Club is a space built on collective care, inclusivity, and community connection. Serving hundreds of meals each night they ensure that everyone in Ōtepoti has access to nourishing, affordable kai in a welcoming environment. To support their kaupapa, we were honoured to gift them a new website, making it easier for people to learn, contribute, and be part of their mission.
Jackie and Liam of The Bowling Club pour everything into creating a space where everyone in Ōtepoti can access nourishing kai. Their menu changes daily whilst their prices remain incredibly affordable and free for those in need. While giving so much out, the long hours, ongoing renovations, and the challenge of supporting their team made it tough to take a much-needed break.
In July 2024, when they shared their reality via social media—four weeks left before closing temporarily, a team of nine relying on them—we knew we wanted to help. Their kaupapa inspired us, so we did what we do best and built them a website to support their mission and help keep The Bowling Club thriving.
Now, their new website makes it even easier for the community to connect with The Bowling Club.
