Design Thinking (EDIPTS)
Let’s explore opportunities for the development of new innovative products, services and customer experiences, whether you are an established business or a start-up. We’ll use our proven framework which includes design thinking (EDIPTS) and lean start-up methodologies. We’ll coach you through the workshop experience with our own Firebrand flavour so you and your team can learn a reusable structure to establish Customer Connection, Concept Creation, Opportunity Exploration, Rapid Prototyping, Test and Challenge, Communication through Story, how to test and apply it to any business problem. It’s fast, dynamic, boosts creativity and embraces an inclusive culture. It will look a little like we have shares in 3M Post-its... we promise we haven’t! We can deliver this workshop digitally too, virtual Post-it notes included! The approach we take is called design thinking, a term coined by IDEO’s David Kelley. Companies such as Apple, Airbnb, Air New Zealand, Icebreaker, Nike, Xero, Tesla and Uber were founded on dreaming, discovering and design thinking, as have some of our own award winning products like Youth Employment Success.
So how does it work? We get together with the key communicators in your team - the folk that make it all happen and the people that communicate with your customers. We gain insights by talking to your team and your customers in a way you haven’t before, providing useful evidence to base our decision making on. We can be creative but make informed decisions on how we go about spreading the word. It doesn't end there if you don't want it to.
Firebrand’s marketing strategists and UX designers take on the role of coach and many of our marketing and digital transformation projects begin with workshops. Our team will facilitate and lead you through the early strategic phases of projects and you’ll get to know one another pretty well! When projects go live your digital marketing, brand story and social channels are going to need some love to support your take-to-market strategy. We can do this for you or we can offer training and ongoing mentoring, coaching and support.

Coaching & Group Training
We offer public workshops, private group training and one-on-one options. This is a great way to get up to speed on storytelling, digital marketing and social media too.
Traction is important. We have great connections and if we can't help you we'll refer you to someone who can. That goes for funding too. We have a number of options including our registration as a Regional Business Partner.
