The Malcam Charitable Trust is an important initiative, and here at Firebrand we prioritise fostering Youth Development. Whether that be through the offering of Youth Internships or our ongoing relationship and support of Youth Employment Success. The rangatahi are our future and in order for that to continue being a focus within the Otago District, our boss Bex has put herself forward to abseil 35 meters from the roof of Dunedin's Forsyth Barr Stadium! Her goal is to raise $1000 before the 17th of May which goes directly back to The Malcam Charitable Trust.

The Malcam Charitable Trust has 5 main objectives that they follow within their organisation.
1. To work with youth in Otago to develop their full potential
2. To facilitate opportunities that assist youth to transition to meaningful and balanced lives
3. To support and develop best practices in our communities
4. To co-operate and collaborate with others as appropriate to advance these aims
5. To take any other actions necessary to further these objections
