I know a journal is meant to be a daily thing but... well... er... (insert well worded witty excuse here), thanks for being so understanding ? I knew you'd let me slide.
We had the opportunity to extend our bubble when we came back to level 3 but decided to remain status quo and with Mothers Day this weekend, it made perfect sense to give Mum a surprise visit.
It was lovely to see Mum, Dad and Kerry for afternoon tea and donuts from mamas donuts even if we were a day early.
Sunday, started with a delicious cooked breakfast for the Bubble Mums, Lorraine and Bex, made lovingly by the kids.
I know the above picture isn't of them eating breakfast but I liked this shot better.
A heartfelt thank you to all the mothers out there during this time. You are our glue, our rock and our Queen of compassion.
