The first day of remote learning is done and dusted. Technology worked a treat and both children came out having learnt something new from their schooling experience.
But, they weren't the only ones learning something new. I learnt the importance of the parents role in the virtual classroom.
Our teachers have managed to do something us as mere mortal parents could never imagine in our wildest dreams. Schedule 30 kids via zoom and teach to a curriculum that never dreamt of a pandemic.
Thank you teachers for once again filling our days with a schedule and sense of normality.
So, now my role is to be the best teacher aid for my munchkins. It's the least I can do knowing how important my children's learning is to their teachers.
