New Zealand Ethical Employers are a new organisation, whose vision is higher employee wellbeing which they aim to achieve by sharing best practices, ensuring that workplace standards rise. Respect for human rights and fairness sit at the heart NZEE's values.
Firebrand were approached by NZEE a while back to provide a custom brand and website. In April of this year, we officially launched the new NZEE website, with both a beautiful landing page and a whopping 10 page multi-step form.
The landing page shows off the NZEE green and yellow with a crisp design and beautiful typography. The form was both an achievement for NZEE and for the developers at Firebrand. It allows NZEE members to perform the application process completely online, without needing to fill out any actual paperwork and being able to save and return later for convenience. It was also an achievement for myself (junior dev - Toby Meyrick) to learn vital backend skills at a scale never explored for Firebrand in terms of form development.
The complexity of the data involved provided some unique challenges and some learnings which will help Firebrand continue to deliver unique web development solutions in the future.
Tanya Pouwhare, the CEO of NZEE, was a pleasure to work with and her genuine passion for ethical employment was evident from the first meeting. We hope that the relationship between Firebrand and NZEE can yield many more positive highlights in 2022 and beyond!
