The interns, Meg Kennelly and Trelise Wadsworth spent their final months studying towards a bachelor of design and communication with us, getting real-world agency experience in design and Marketing for their final projects.
We loved having their fresh faces in the office. Here's what they have to say about us:
"I had such an awesome experience interning with Firebrand. The whole team is fun and supportive, and the culture is great to be a part of. There's something different to do every day! Getting agency experience is so valuable for a student. I would recommend internship opportunities to anybody from any industry but especially for designers; you never know what could come from it." — Trelise.
"My time at Firebrand has been incredibly beneficial. Working at a design agency provided me with valuable experience, and I'm grateful for the advice, connections, and design projects I had the opportunity to participate in. The Dunedin Store, in particular, stands out as it allowed me to contribute to something meaningful for my community. This experience has not only enhanced my skills but also provided a sense of fulfilment by making a positive impact close to home." — Meg.
The girls worked on various projects with us, the most significant being for our Dunedin Store rebrand and Youth Employment Success.
You can now view Meg's excellent brand design applied across our newly launched Dunedin Store website and Social Media accounts. We've also kept Trelise in a Hybrid role as our new Youth Employment Success Ambassador and Junior Design and Marketing Strategist.
