Everyone at Firebrand knows how much knowledge Taryn Ormsby has about the design world, so it was a treat to sit down and learn more about her experience. Taryn spoke so well and was able to go through her career pathway and the lessons she learnt along the way. And, of course, she had some pretty ✨snazzy✨ slides to go through that reflected her journey. As a junior designer, it was awesome to hear about what she was up to early on in her career and to see the growth in her design work over the years.
Design Assembly is a place where creatives in Aotearoa can come together to connect, educate and inspire each other. This has created such an incredible community, so seeing Taryn up there doing her thing was awesome. She shared the mic with freelance copywriter and creative director Mark Easterbrook who also had some incredible insight. This was such an awesome opportunity to connect with the Ōtepoti design community and have Taryn recognised for her work. She inspired many people in the audience! ❤?
