Dunedin Public Art Gallery is one of New Zealand's four major metropolitan art galleries. Established in 1884, the Gallery was New Zealand’s first Art Gallery and is renowned today for the richness of its historic collection and its close working relationship with major New Zealand artists.
We were tasked with creating a website that reflected the galleries persona in the online space. The bold and stunning exhibitions that are held in the Gallery were to be showcased on the website, a window if you will, for the user to get a glimpse into what is available within the gallery.
With the stunning images provided, it was a designers dream to pull these together and create a visual online presence. The website looks to highlight these images with the use of a large amount of white space and a simple font that compliments the brand.
Alongside the exhibitions, the website also showcases the events that are held within the gallery too. From adults to children, there is always something going on for all ages so make sure you check it out! https://dunedin.art.museum/
