When we were approached to create a new visual identity for Swap A Brick, we couldn’t have been more excited! Swap a Brick is a fresh, new LEGO rental service that provides a way for families to afford monthly deliveries of the latest and greatest sets available at a fraction of the cost of buying them new. Great idea right? We thought so too.

The Brand

Swap A Brick had a broad target market from young children to adults. With this in mind, our challenge was set. Collaborating with founders Dorothy and Mark, we developed a fun and colourful brand that would appeal to kids and resonate with avid adult LEGO fans.

The Strategy

We embarked on an in-depth, deep-dive discovery session to uncover the Swap A Brick brand story, their audience, marketing possibilities and to establish their core message: “Imagination Unboxed.” The strategy featured social media elements with the aim of connecting a dynamic online community of excited fans to engage with and create user-generated content.

The Website
Combining the strategy with the design system, we created a robust and responsive Shopify eCommerce website that's engaging and accessible for all users. The features include ongoing monthly subscription options, gift cards and a centralised interface for the clients to upload content themselves and track progress.
