Offical Launch of YES - Whanganui
Although Youth Employment Success has been launched in Whanganui since June, Covid restrictions meant that we were not able to celebrate in person as soon as we would have liked. It was great to get like minded business leaders in the room to celebrate the programme launching.

Launching in Waitaki/Waimate
Partnering with The Business Hive & Rotary Waitaki we are really excited to bring the programme to the Waimate / Waitaki region and engage with youth, providing them the opportunities that are available to them in their region. We can't wait for the official launch next week!
Launching in Nelson/Tasman & Marlborough
Partnering with Ministry of Social Development in Nelson we have rolled out the programme to the top of the south, Tasman, Nelson & Marlborough. We are really excited for youth to utilise this programme to explore the opportunities that are readily available to them. Watch this space for the official launch early in 2021.
New Map on Home Page
To help with finding the ever increasing number of regions on the website we have decided to develop an interactive map that allows users to easily find the opportunities in their regions. This is an awesome example of how we are continually improving the site for its users.
Finalists for the OBIZ awards
We are absolutely stoked that Firebrand has been announced as the finalist for two categories, the first being Business Integrity and secondly Innovation for the work on the Youth Employment Success platform they did around our pivoting during Covid-19 lockdown. The awards night are being hosted on November 13th.
Sponser of the Otago Hall of Fame
This year we are proud to be sponsors of the Youth Local Hero of The Year award in the Otago Hall of Fame. This will celebrate a person that a positive and courageous example for other New Zealand youth, this person will also show potential for change and leadership. Edubits
The edubits that we have developed went live in late August and we cannot wait to have both employers & youth take up this opportunity and become youth employment success accredited.
Zoom Celebration (5 Years)
