When an opportunity to view a recently vacant 2 Dowling Street was presented (in typical Dunedin fashion, someone that knew someone), it was love at first sight. We know how to spot potential here at Firebrand and within seconds of showing the team around the space smiles and glittery eyes were quickly followed by discussions of how to arrange the furniture and of course colour schemes. A Pinterest board was also created in record time filled with inspiration from New York loft and warehouse workspace style interiors.
With a very clear list of requirements that were non negotiable our search started nearly a year ago - creative, heritage, fun and top of the list; a space that could house the entire team in one collaborative environment - BOOM! Luckily for us our perfect new space was actually only a hop skip and a jump from a current location and presented everything on the list and quite a bit more.
We are planning an opening gig later in 2016 once we are all settled but in the meantime - from 11th January 2016 head over a block and down to the edge of Dowling - you won't be able to miss us, especially with our very own street frontage!
