Regular website security audits and remediation are an important part of maintaining secure and healthy websites. According to data from Acunetix’s web application vulnerability report in 2019, 46% of websites had high-security vulnerabilities, and on average each system contained 22 vulnerabilities, 4 of which were high severity.
This puts into perspective just how much of an achievement it was for our team to receive a 100% security pass in its recent audit for a high profile web app they have been working on. Not a single vulnerability was found ... fantastic right!
So when you are creating a website (or thinking about ongoing maintenance) for your business or you have finally decided to build that app or programme, it is so important to consider the competency of the team you are working with.
