The team trials for the 2021 Otago Gold Rush team kicked off on the 6th of March and we saw some new faces and some of our favourites returning from last season.
The 2021 Season
Exciting news for 3x3 basketball this year with the NZ NBL's announcement of the format for this year's Schick 3x3 Cup in Invercargill.
Also great to see equal pay for the men's and women's events being introduced this year. This is something that Basketball Otago was proud to introduce with the Otago Gold Rush at last year's inaugural event.
We hear some more rumblings about the regular 2021 Sal's NBL season format too... but you will have to be patient.
