At Firebrand, we're all about paying it forward and leveraging our knowledge, skills and expertise to do good for the local Dunedin community. Our latest good deed has proven to be a massive success, with our open-hour drawing a crowd of close to 25 people, students from Otago Girls High School, Otago Polytechnic and the University of Otago.

Speaking from the three core aspects of Firebrand's operations, Rebecca (Management and Web), Katy (Graphic and Web Design) and Jake (Marketing and Communications) each spoke about their experiences, tips and advice for success.

We offered this Open-Hour opportunity as part of Dunedin's awesome Youth Employment Success campaign, an initiative set up in partnership with the Ministry of Social Development to help provide more jobs and employment-based opportunities for Dunedin youth.  The sheer turnout to our open hour proves a keen demand and interest for opportunities like this from local youth - we urge more businesses from all industries to get on board and do the same.

Thanks to everyone who came along! We've committed to opening our doors at least two more times before the end of 2016, so be sure to keep an eye out if you missed out this time!
