Who can apply for funding?
Tourism businesses are those where 50% of operational output is/was purchased by tourists (domestic and/or international) or those that supply tourism businesses.

What funding is available?
The funding is administered by Otago RBP Growth Advisors and provides a number of initiatives focusing on ensuring tourism is more sustainable and resilient in the future. This includes:
Business Advisory Support: (up to $5,000 per business operation) to enable businesses to receive expert advice and support, such as on changing target markets, or scaling their business.
Implementation Support: Grants for businesses to implement business advice (up to $5,000 per business operation).
What kind of advisory & implementation support can you receive from us?
Advisory Workshops (The planning/strategising)
Social Media: A series of workshops where we take you on the journey of how to create strategic, engaging content that speaks to your target audiences. Everything from how to create killer visuals, to recommendations & training in digital tools that will make managing your social media in-house more manageable.
Google AdWords: Search and discover the world of Google through a series of advisory sessions that are designed to provide you with a solid knowledge-base on how to drive traffic to your website.
Marketing Strategy: Uncover and discover your brand's marketing opportunities through workshops that are guided by strategy, how to research, the importance of benchmarking, identifying your target audiences (and where they live in the digital world) how to develop key messaging and most importantly, identifying what key marketing tactics best suit your business.
Website Audits: Is your website performing at its best? Through interactive sessions, we will guide you through the process of auditing your website, introduce you to key tools such as Google Analytics that measure the performance of your site and identify opportunities & improvement recommendations based on our best practices.
Implementation Support (The doing)
The digital world is your oyster! Under the implementation funding, we start with an initial conversation with you about your business's digital needs and identify key areas for development. This includes proposed services Firebrand can provide for you.
