Our steadily growing team have quite a few things in common. While some of us are crazy about cats, and others love dogs we all agree where it counts and strive to be the best at what we do. United by an undying love of creative design and all things digital we create world-leading solutions from a little city in the South of New Zealand.
Working from our purposely-designed central city Studio our designers, developers, marketers and account managers represent the perfect mix of rowdy creatives and detail and process orientated marketing and sales types.
Our team is small enough to be agile and give your project the attention it deserves, while being large enough to deliver at any scale, with quick turnaround times at that. A bit like the old tale of Goldilocks and the Three Bears, we’re not too big, we’re not too small – we think we’re just right...
In the beginning...
Firebrand began as a Dunedin web start-up (Fireweb) in 2009. The original team of four has continued to grow with today’s proud owners Rebecca and Paul Twemlow on board since the beginning.
Starting a business in the middle of the GFC, with no client base, in an industry due massive disruption is not for the faint of heart. Fortunately for Firebrand, Rebecca and Paul were steadfastly determined to create an agency that focused on what they called ‘the big three’, relationships, exceptional service and cutting edge solutions. Motivated to help businesses navigate a quickly changing digital world, success came quickly in the form of a significant partnership with the University of Otago Department of Microbiology and Immunology.
With the strong web design and development offering in place a 2010 merger with a graphic design and marketing two-piece saw a new name emerge (Firebrand), alongside a full service provision and a continued drive and passion for forging long lasting relationships.
While continuing to grow nationally and internationally we’re still driven by the same goals, we have the same vision as the day the doors opened: Provide a genuine service and deliver all our clients with solutions that delight, surprise and exceed expectations.
