A new web presence for Kinross, a place where you can wine, dine, stay and shop.

The Brief

Kinross came to us post-pandemic with the need to take their eCommerce website to the next level. At the time, their website was running through two separate platforms creating a disconnect between their product and service offerings. The Kinross team wanted a new, fluid & fresh user experience for their customers & patrons to purchase wine easily, book a night at their boutique accommodation, enquire about bespoke wine experiences and learn more about Kinross as a venue.

The Solution

Firebrand's solution for Kinross was a fresh, new website that represented their new brand and focused on improved customer experience for desktop and mobile users. In addition, our Digital Design Director, Alex Murray, identified & implemented key app integrations that were used across the site to deliver an extremely user-friendly and fluid online wine destination. Collaboration was crucial to the success of Kinross's new eCommerce website. We worked closely alongside freelance graphic designer Gemma McCabe to fully integrate the fresh Kinross branding across the new website. How good is Adobe XD & Figma!

The Result

The Kinross team in partnership with Firebrand have worked from the ground up to really explore what makes Kinross the hub of wine in Gibbston. The new website features an overhaul of information architecture across the site, optimising navigation and user experience and integration of a custom page-building app, allowing for unique page layouts. We also completed a full SEO strategy, which included an audit and research into key search terms and recommended actionables for the Kinross team to implement in-house. We are incredibly proud of the result and the improved functionality for the Kinross team and users.
