In early November Firebrand was lucky enough to host the very first Dunedin Shopify meetup, an evening for all those interested in Shopify and eCommerce.
Being a part of this very informative networking event was fantastic. The guest speakers throughout the evening represented multiple different users of the platform, each with various interactions and experiences to share
Shopify specialist Darryn Soper opened the presentations, providing a fantastic introduction to the platform and shared his vast knowledge and expertise around the platform’s capabilities. TradeTools Group Marketing Manager Mark Phizacklea shared his journey and extensive experience working with the Shopify as a Large Scale eCommerce Specialist. Amanda Burke spoke from the perspective of a new Shopify user, having just started her own very successful eCommerce boutique, Temple+Co. Bex spoke from an experienced Shopify partner’s perspective, and Otago Chamber of Commerce CE, Dougal McGowan, spoke from a retail and business outlook.
Thank you to all that attended this fantastic event. It was great to share the space with representatives from a variety of different industries and skill sets to celebrate Shopify, and how it can be beneficial to so many businesses.
