Dunedin is lucky enough to have a thriving hub of arts, culture and literature. Evidence of the city's creativity is all around us, from the amazing oversized street art that adorns some of our industrial buildings to the talented individuals who draw inspiration from the city to create art in all it's forms. As a Creative Agency we always love seeing, participating and sharing the great things happening on our doorstep so we thought we'd share this wee gem with you in case you'd like to get involved!

The BIG Wee Book of Dunedin is project being driven by talented locals Leon Nimmo and Malcolm Hayes. Working alongside the Urban Dream Brokerage the Wee Book concept is all about creating a new interactive experience for the Dunedin community and it's authors. With the objective of compiling a collection of creative literature and art that celebrates creativity and collaboration the project will hopefully deliver inspiration and education to the next generation of readers and writers.

During December Wee Book has a pop up space on 187 George St (thanks to Urban Dream Brokerage and Oakwook Properties), with the goal to get 100 of Dunedin's published and unpublished authors to contribute to the BIG Wee Book (which will eventually be a printed publication). They are currently on the hunt for sponsors who can lend equipment short term or provide finances towards operations and marketing. In return they are providing advertising for sponsors through space on the store font and building, website and social media with further exposure in local and national media.

They are also keen for people to come by and see them in their pop up space for a chat and a chance to contribute your very own creative talents to be part of the book.

Check out more about how you can be part of the Big Wee Book in the image gallery and if you'd like to find out more about the project or get involved drop Malcolm a line at hey@weekbook.nz or give him a call on 0225556471.
