Over four weeks ago the Firebrand team all watched (via Zoom of course) as our Mission Commander Bex Twemlow began to weigh up what the economic impact of "lockdown" might be on our little city, moving into overdrive to brainstorm, collaborate and come up with a plan, and plan she did.
Presenting the concept to the key people in charge and then working with our Mayor, DCC, Economic Development, ODT, The Otago Chamber of Commerce and our amazing Firebrand Design & Development team to see this project to fruition - taking two days to build the vision. The vision had one aim, to continue to see Dunedin thrive post-COVID by supporting businesses big and small.
And so the Dunedin Business Directory was born.
A place where Dunedinites can search for local businesses & local businesses can advertise their services free of charge (as we move through the various lockdown levels).
This 100% Free platform will connect you to all consumers and as businesses from all industries, this is so important! Electricians, retailers, carpenters, cafe's, lawyers, marketing, accountants, real estate, eateries and all of those in-between. It is time for us to come together and give our local economy the kick start it needs.
